CHALLENGE VANSBRO event is held in central Vansbro. The municipality consists of four towns and several smaller villages. The area is popular with those who enjoy the simple life, but there are also plenty of things to see and do.
Nature is never far away in Vansbro, with excellent hunting grounds and fishing waters, hiking trails and recreation areas – all year round. There are also beaches all around in the area and plenty of wintertime trails for both skiing and snow mobiles that offer memorable opportunities to discover nature.

Travel
Vansbro is situated about 300km from Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN). The easiest way to travel here from Stockholm is by rental car or by train to Borlänge and by bus from Borlänge to Vansbro.
You may bring your bicycle on the train if it is foldable or if you can dissemble and package it in a bicycle bag (maximum 140*85*30 cm and 25 kg). You place the bike bag on a vacant floor space as instructed by the onboard staff.
